Salūs Hair Oil

Salūs is a scented hair oil inspired by Palestine. We've added sage oil, watermelon seed oil, and sourced Palestinian olive oil as an ode to the people, with all profits donated to the Welfare Association's emergency Gaza appeal.

Sage has become a symbol of Palestine, used in tea (Meramiyeh), as a herbal remedy, and appears in a folk song "we planted sage / زرعنا المرمية", expressing the act of planting across the land as a symbol of their existence. Salvia, the genus name of Sage, is derived from ‘Salus’, the Latin for health, well-being and prosperity, and the Roman goddess of safety.

Other ingredient benefits include:

  • Amla Oil - reduces premature greying [1,2]
  • Brazil Nut Oil - increased gloss and reduced split ends [3]
  • Coconut Oil - decreases breakage [4]

In order to avoid single-use plastic packaging, we offer this as either a refill (aluminium screw cap), or with pipette (made of glass and plastic). Each bottle is at least 30 ml.

The Welfare Association is a UK charity for Palestinians providing emergency relief, health, education, and community development (Reg. Charity No. 1020238).
