Did you know shampoo originated from India? We’ve recreated the original scent of nag champa incense (sandalwood and frangipani) and combined it with henna powder to nourish and condition hair. Sadly sandalwood is currently a threatened species due to over harvesting, so instead we've scent this bar with West Indian Sandalwood, which, despite smelling similar is actually a different species called Amyris.
- Pro-Vitamin B5 - strengthens
- Hydrolized Protein - helps retain moisture
- Cocamidopropyl Betaine - reduces static
- Stearic Acid - conditions and protects
We don't use Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) in our shampoo bars. This ingredient is most commonly derived from petroleum and palm oil, and is often reported as more likely to cause skin irritation. Instead we use Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) and Sodium Coco-Sulfate (SCS) which are both derived from coconut oil.
Each bar is at least 60 g and approximately 5.5 cm diameter and 2.5 cm high. As a handmade product there can be natural variations in appearance.
